First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Akmal Saidov met with a delegation led by the Chairman of the Uzbekistan – Saudi Arabia Interparliamentary Friendship Group Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Jarba.

The participants discussed issues such as enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation, intensifying the activities of friendship groups, continuing the exchange of mutual visits, holding Culture Days of Uzbekistan in Riyadh and Jeddah, and strengthening relations in tourism, information, and communication technologies.

It was emphasized that the goals and objectives of the strategic programs “Uzbekistan 2030” and “Vision 2030”, which aim at development and modernization, are very similar.

Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Jarba expressed gratitude for the sincere reception and noted President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s balanced, open, and constructive foreign policy and large-scale reforms.
