NGO “SHAROIT PLUS” was awarded the badge “For the Protection of Human Rights”
On December 10, 2025 a ceremonial event dedicated to International Human Rights Day was held at the Human Rights House in Tashkent City. Among the group of activists and organizations that made a worthy contribution to the protection of human rights and freedoms, as well as to the development of this field in Uzbekistan, our NGO “SHAROIT PLUS” was also honored.
We are especially pleased that our Public Association of Disabled People of Tashkent City “SHAROIT PLUS” was awarded a high distinction for its effective activities among non-governmental non-profit organizations in the field of human rights protection — the “For the Protection of Human Rights” badge.

The award was solemnly presented by the Director of the National Human Rights Centre of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Akmal Kholmatovich Saidov. Representatives of the United Nations Development Programme, the OSCE, and other international organizations also took part in the event, acknowledging cooperation in the field of human rights.

This high recognition became not only a source of pride for the “SHAROIT PLYUS” team, but also a source of even stronger motivation for our future activities. We regard this award as a high appraisal of the work of every member of our organization, as well as our volunteers and partners. This badge is a symbol of the trust placed in us and places even greater responsibility upon us.

NGO “SHAROIT PLYUS” remains committed to its noble goals. We will continue our work with even greater determination to protect the rights of persons with disabilities, create equal opportunities for them in society, and develop an inclusive environment. To achieve these goals and objectives, we will further develop HuquqPlus.uz — our specialized legal information web portal for persons with disabilities.

We express our sincere gratitude to all our partners for their support, as well as to the National Human Rights Centre of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
For reference: The “For the Protection of Human Rights” badge was established on the basis of the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-6012 dated June 22, 2020 “On Approval of the National Human Rights Strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, as well as the Regulation on the “For the Protection of Human Rights” badge approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 685 dated November 3, 2020. This award is presented annually to citizens and organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of international organizations, who have made a worthy contribution to the protection of human rights and freedoms and to the development of this field.
