On the sidelines of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, taking place in Avaza, a trilateral meeting was held between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov.

The expansion of mutually beneficial regional cooperation and the advancement of joint projects were discussed.

Opportunities for cooperation were noted, particularly in the areas of energy, transport and logistics, industry, and agriculture.

An agreement was reached to continue contacts in this format to explore promising projects for practical collaboration.
