The National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights deeply regrets to inform that due to the determination by the World Health Organization, on 11 March, that the outbreak of a new COVID-19 coronavirus is now pandemic, the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has decided to postpone the Samarkand Human Rights Forum to a later date. The Samarkand Forum had originally been scheduled for May 28-29, 2020.
The National Center for Human Rights expresses its hope for an early resolution of the situation with coronavirus in the world and confirms its readiness for further fruitful cooperation in the field of promotion and protection of human rights.
